B Pressure Welder

Position Summary:   The B-Pressure Welder will assist in the day to day implementation of the work activities within the PE business unit.  The B-Pressure Welder will assist the Foreman with the construction of all projects within the PE business unit, and ensure product quality is maintained through good workmanship. The B-Pressure Welder will train, teach, and assist the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Year Apprentices with the guidance of the Foreman in the development of their Apprenticeships. This definition will only be used as a guideline and the definition is subject to change.

Responsibilities Include:  

• ensuring that safety is being followed in the Shop area, promoting safe work practices, and being an active participant in the daily meetings to review safety topics.
• LEADING by example and exhibiting a strong work ethic.
• promoting and ensuring safe work practices, and assisting in developing hazard assessments.
• being responsible for the construction of all products and ensuring drawing accuracy is met.  High quality and workmanship will be maintained through good trade practices.
• keeping a clean and tidy work area.
• working within the designated hours specified by the Production Manager and Foreman and being punctual for days of work.
• mentoring and coaching 1st, 2nd and 3rd Year Apprentices towards professional and personal development.
• representing the company in such a way that communicates the value, culture and vision of Reece Custom.
• properly representing Reece Custom as a member of the community.
